“Turning what used to be a carrier of our music into a new instrument of creating and recomposing. The platform of tape is long from dead. The element of re-using what people otherwise would have trown away is what drives Silva. With this interactive installation Silva wants to show people what you can do with reusing (reusing the musical material as well as the physical material) and how this can be so much more fun than buying new stuff! Believing this is what the world needs right now, where we live in this society of throwing away and consuming.”
