On Hold is an interactive installation where sound becomes tangible. The user can reach out, grasp sound waves and dynamically zoom in and out.
About the technology:
The installation, built upon the openCV framework uses data from hand tracking that is sent over OSC. The OSC data is then collected in max msp and controls a granular sampler.The technology can be seen in this video.
